Alwitra EVALON is not just another flat roofing membrane – it represents almost 40 years of German engineering excellence and continuous innovation. The EVALON system uses vinyl-ethylene-terpolymer (VET) technology, combining polyvinyl-chloride (PVC) and ethylene-vinyl-acetate (EVA) to create an exceptionally stable, high-performance membrane.
What Makes EVALON Different?
Fleece-Backed Design – The polyester fleece backing provides superior adhesion to the substrate and allows for fully bonded installations that won’t blow off in high winds.
Heat-Welded Seams – Unlike glued or taped systems, EVALON seams are heat-welded, creating a permanent molecular bond that’s stronger than the membrane itself. This eliminates the risk of seam failure over time.
Free from Harmful Plasticisers – EVALON’s stable formulation means it doesn’t rely on volatile plasticisers that can migrate out over time, causing the membrane to become brittle. This is why it maintains flexibility and performance for 50+ years.
Seamless Installation – Available in sheets up to 2.05m wide and 25m long, EVALON can provide up to 50m² of seamless waterproofing, reducing joints and potential weak points.
Suitable for Any Geometry – Whether your roof is flat, curved, sloped, or features complex details, EVALON can be installed to provide reliable waterproofing. The material remains flexible even in cold temperatures, making it ideal for British weather conditions.
Manufactured to EN 13956 – EVALON meets and exceeds European standards for flexible sheets for waterproofing, with full CE marking and BBA certification (BBA 23/6878).
