We are committed to producing sustainable, high-quality roofing that includes appropriate infrastructure and maintenance whilst adhering to the latest roofing standards including bs5534 and bs 8000 part 6, with one of our company directors being on the regional NFRC committee thus allowing us to keep up to date with the latest regulations from within the industry.

Refurbishments

For all our refurbishment works we work closely with Local Authority Building Control (LABC) and NFRC’S Competent Person Scheme.

This allows us to self-certify the works saving both time and money for the client, with the work being carried out safely to the relevant ISO standards, this will give the client peace of mind and the correct documentation when selling their property.

Leadwork

All our leadwork ranging from large works to small chimney flashings is all carried out within the latest LSA (Lead Sheet Association) regulations and standards. Our highly skilled and trained team of Lead Operatives adhere to the highest HSE standards, and all work carried out is by fully qualified members of staff.

All flat roof works are carried out to BS6229 – 2018 standards, with this specialist training and competency we can offer flat roof refurbishment alongside new build flat roof systems.

Joe is the owner and director of J Martin Roofing Contractor & Sons Ltd . He has over 20 years experience in the industry. Joe is a member of the South West Regional NFRC committee , and is working towards the completion of The Institute of Roofing Affiliate course.

Corey is our site supervisor having completed the SMSTS course alongside his NVQ2 slating and tiling qualifications. Corey has from his early stages within the company showcased great communication and leadership skills and has recently been promoted to company director.

Kai as a family member joined the team in 2020 and has exceeded all expectations and was awarded Highly Commended at the Redland Roofing Apprentice awards. Kai oversees all Single Ply and Leadwork , a huge character within the company.

Nick is our site supervisor and has a wealth of experience in the building trade and has qualifications in the engineering sectors. Nick oversees many of our small works contracts and is a highly respected member of the team.
